Bourgeon bronchique sarcoïdosique

We here report the case of a 53-year old patient, presenting with dry cough and dyspnea on exertion. Chest scanner showed bilateral mediastinal and hilar lymphadenopathies and left interlobular lymphadenopathy associated with bilateral strip and subsegmental ventral, lingular and basal atelectasis. Bronchoscopy showed diffuse inflammation and right in catheterizable spur thickening middle lobe bronchus with scalloped appearance and vascular smooth bud bleeding at the slightest contact at the level of the right posteriorbasal segmental bronchus. On the left side , there was a highly vascularized bud at the level of the left posterior-basal bronchus which was smaller than that of the right bud but more inflamed. Biopsy showed granulomatous alterations confirming the diagnosis of sarcoidosis.
